Steven donates cabaret evening to Red Ribbon’s 11th gala for AIDS

On November 6th, 2010, the Red Ribbon Foundation of Greenwich, CT will host their 11th gala for AIDS. I’m honored to have been asked to donate an evening of cabaret-style entertainment to be auctioned at the gala in conjunction with a catered dinner. The text of the package, copied from their website, is below. The link is here.

Cutler Events, known for providing Greenwich families with exceptional events that guests have time to enjoy, will cater an elegant dinner for ten in your home.  Complementing the excellent food, service and ambiance, tenor Steven Caldicott Wilson will set the tone to create an evening your guests will never forget. Wilson will make his Carnegie Hall solo debut in December 2010 performing Handel’s Messiah with Andrew Megill and The Masterwork Chorus. Round out the night with wine aplenty, as well as a beautiful flower arrangement for your table provided by Greenwich Orchids.

The tenor Steven Caldicott Wilson sang with dramatic flair as Abraham, with fine contributions from the countertenor Geoffrey D. Williams as Isaac.

New (York) Music Concert, Trinity Wall Street NYC

It was again my privilege to be invited to join the Trinity Wall Street Choir and Steven Fox, music director and conductor, for their concert of works by New York composers. Three of the compositions were written by current and former members of the Trinity Choir; these composers are friends of mine and it meant a great deal that I was able to interpret their music and work with such incredible colleagues.

In addition to performing the concert as part of the Trinity Choir, I was featured as a soloist in James Blachly’s Nunc Per Speculum in Aenigmate. The entire concert has been archived on Trinity’s website here:

My solos can be accessed at 23’02″ and 27’47″ in the video.
