New (York) Music Concert, Trinity Wall Street NYC
It was again my privilege to be invited to join the Trinity Wall Street Choir and Steven Fox, music director and conductor, for their concert of works by New York composers. Three of the compositions were written by current and former members of the Trinity Choir; these composers are friends of mine and it meant a great deal that I was able to interpret their music and work with such incredible colleagues.
In addition to performing the concert as part of the Trinity Choir, I was featured as a soloist in James Blachly’s Nunc Per Speculum in Aenigmate. The entire concert has been archived on Trinity’s website here:

My solos can be accessed at 23’02″ and 27’47″ in the video.
Born of a Dream, US Air Force Musical Production, Celebrates the Centenary of Powered Flight
Both of these clips are from the DVD release of Born of a Dream, a Broadway-style musical celebrating 100 years of powered flight. It was written, composed, and produced by the United States Air Force Band, and was performed at both the National Theater in Washington, DC and the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles.
Steven Wilson plays the lead role of big-city newspaper reporter Scott Gibson, who is terrified of flying and is assigned to cover a small town’s celebration of flight.

George Frideric Handel — Dixit Dominus (HWV 232)

Members of the Trinity Youth Chorus, Robert Ridgell, Director
Trinity Baroque Orchestra, Claire Jolivet, Guest Concertmaster
The concert was broadcast live online, and the stream has now been permanently archived here:
Trinity Wall Street NYC: Contemporary A Cappella Scandinavian Choral Works
The webcast for the February 2009 concert Contemporary A Cappella Scandinavian Choral Works at Trinity Wall Street New York City has been archived on their website. It was a great honor for me to have been invited to join the wonderful Trinity Choir for this concert.
In addition to singing with the Choir, I perform the opening solo in the second piece of the concert, Lars Edlund’s Gloria. This solo was written using 1/4 tone tunings as part of the vocal line; the composer’s intention was to create a sense of walking through a large church with many different sounds coming from many different places in the building. You may also notice that I’m hitting my head with a piece of metal; this is a tuning fork and is assisting me to stay on pitch. I’m hitting it on my head simply out of convenience.
The solo begins after 8 minutes and 45 seconds into the webcast. The stream is here:
